Colorado Fly Fishing at its best! Join us for a fully guided and instructional fly fishing trip with Aspen Fly Fishing. We are very fortunate to have many different and varied fishing options within a short drive from the conference location in Snowmass, Colorado. One can experience everything from the Frying Pan River which is a smaller tailwater with a lot of little fish and the occasional big one to the Roaring Fork River where the fish are big and wild and it is a little more of an adventure. The experienced guides make their selection of water based on angler preference, level of experience, water conditions, and current hatches.

The focus will be on the catch-and-release fly-fishing ethic, as well as emphasizing education on river and trout habitat conservation and restoration. The tour will include all fishing gear, waders, rods and reels. However, feel free to bring your own equipment if you have it. Fisherman will be grouped by ability and will be in groups of 2 – 3 people with each guide. Each Guide will have water, drinks and snacks. Beginners and experts alike are encouraged to join this once in a lifetime opportunity to explore some of Colorado’s premier fishing streams!

Trip Details

Meeting Time and Place: 9:00 AM – Silvertree Hotel Lobby

Aspen Fly Fishing will meet the group in the lobby of the Silvertree Hotel at 9:00 AM where gear will be dispersed and people matched with guides. We will then head directly from the Hotel to the water.

Trip Duration: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Trip Cost: $100.00/Person

Guide to Fisherman Ratio: 2 - 3 Fishermen to 1 Guide.

Trip Includes: All Fishing Gear included

Reels

Waders

Snack– (Granola Bars, Soda, Water etc, not a traditional Lunch.)

Fishing Licenses ($9/day, $26/year)

Tackle (this would be flies)

If you do not currently have a fishing license:

A $9 1-day fishing license will be required prior to leaving for the River. To maximize the time on the water please make arrangements to get your fishing license prior to 9:00 AM on Friday September 24, 2010. Fishing Licenses can be obtained online through the Colorado Division of Wildlife at:
