Water Resources Project Manager – Denver, CO

A Masters Degree in Civil Engineering or related field and/or Certified Floor Plain Manager Accreditation preferred. The successful candidate will have a degree in civil engineering, professional engineer registration, and 5-12 years of experience in the hydrology / hydraulics field. ICON Engineering has an opening for a Civil Design Engineer with 0-5 years experience in water resource engineering. Assignments will include the design and construction of open channel systems including stream stabilization, bioengineering and hydraulic structures; stormwater quality and detention facilities; roadway drainage and culverts, inlets and storm sewers; and hydrology and hydraulic studies. BSCE required, advanced degree desirable. Ideal candidate will have knowledge of hydrology, hydraulics, watershed and stormwater master planning; design and modelling capabilities and a general knowledge of current principles, practices, methods, and techniques of urban stormwater management. Experience with drainage-related tools is desirable including HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, CUHP and AutoCAD / Land Development. This is a full-time, year-round position with a comprehensive benefits package.
