CASFM Stormwater Quality Bus Tour

Friday July 25, 2003

Itinerary

8:00 Begin arriving at UDFCD

8:30 Leave UDFCD

9:00 -10:00 Tour Cherry Creek State Park – Jim Wulliman will be the Tour Leader of Water Quality projects at the Park Site

10:00 -10:30 Travel to Stapleton

10:30-12:00 Tour Stapleton Redevelopment – Some of you remember the plans presented at the CASFM conference.  See the project in progress.

12:00-12:30 Lunch – Bring your own bag lunch we will provide cold drinks

12:30- 1:30 Travel to Longmont

1:30-2:30 Tour Left Hand Creek – Stormwater Quality BMP’s and stream restoration too! David Hollingsworth of the City of Longmont is the tour leader for this site.

2:30- 3:00 Travel to the Land and Water Building in Boulder – This site has received attention from the likes of National Geographic.  There has been data collected on this site and several graduate theses as well.  An urban retrofit project. Paul Lander from the City of Boulder will share information from this site. 

3:00-3:45 Tour Land and Water Center

4:30 Arrive UDFCD

5:00 Socialize in Lodo?  What was it that place that the new Mayor owns?
