CASFM’s Training Committee has developed the concept of evening training sessions that combines CFM credits with some socializing in a comfortable setting. We have a wonderful opportunity to kick off this series with Ed Thomas. Ed has been in the business of floodplain management for nearly 40 years with FEMA and currently Michael Baker Jr. Corporation. He is also an attorney and will speak from that perspective. Ed will present an overview of the legally orientated major publications, seminars and written material available for floodplain managers. If time allows he will also cover professional liability for construction in hazardous locations.

This event will be pre-approved for 2 Continuing Education Credits through ASFPM.
