SUMMARY:1-Day Leadership & Collaboration Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Lead by Employers Council\, this leadership and collaboration workshop focuses on catalyzing creativity\, trust\, productivity\, and satisfaction by building more effective and collaborative work environments. The session\, building on the teachings of Radical Collaboration\, teaches five essential skills for building strong alignments. This fast paced\, hands-on learning experience increases trust and problem solving and reduces costly defensive behaviors. If you want your team to talk more openly\, resolve conflicts more effectively\, and be more productive\, this workshop is for you. \nAttendees will be provided with a handbook of program content\, lessons\, and implementation ideas. \nLearning Outcomes:\n1. Build collaborative skills\n2. Recognize the elements of building and maintaining trusting climates\n3. Develop skills establishing and solidifying partnerships and alliances\n4. Learn the dynamics of interpersonal relationships \nCommendations for the Course: \n“The Urban Drainage and Flood Control District utilizes the Employers Council for professional growth and development training. Through our Leadership Academy\, we covered the Radical Collaboration course\, which has been instrumental in not only helping us to break down the silos within our organization but also in more effectively leading teams comprised of people with varying backgrounds\, experience\, and expertise. Understanding how to read and respond to different behaviors\, mastering interpersonal relationships\, and building trust within teams are soft skills that are so important in our industry but often neglected in the education engineers receive. Blending those soft skills with technical expertise is a great way to develop individuals and\, in turn\, produce better functioning and more productive teams. We have been impressed with the quality of training provided by Employers Council and continue to use them as we grow as an organization.” Shea Thomas\, Urban Drainage and Flood Control District \n“The Employers Council instructors are awesome!” David Skuodas\, UDFCD \n$90 before June 29\n$125 after June 29 \nClick here to see the flyer \nClick here to register \nREGISTRATION IS LIMITED TO 25
