SUMMARY:Outreach and Training Monthly Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The CASFM Outreach & Training Committee meets every third Wednesday of the month. We plan educational events including trainings\, tours\, and lunch and learns. There are also two grants (Research Grant and Disaster Grant) that CASFM awards each year which O&T is responsible for advertising and reviewing applications. This committee is also in charge of social media and website maintenance. \nIf you have ideas for training opportunities\, an interest in helping with the website or social media\, or would like to be involved with the grant process\, please join us! \nEmail Katie Kerstiens (kkerstiens@mhfd.org) to get added to the Zoom meeting invite.

DESCRIPTION:Kick Off Summer with a River Cleanup & Happy Hour! \nThis June\, join fellow young professionals for a relaxed evening giving back to the South Platte River. We’ll meet at Commons Park for a trash pickup along the river\, then stick around to enjoy cold drinks and good company in the park. \nEvent Details\nWhen: Wednesday\, June 18\nTrash Pick Up: 6:00-7:30pm\nRefreshments in the park: 7:30-8:00pm\nWhere: Commons Park\nWho: Young professionals (however you define that!) looking to connect\, give back\, and spend a beautiful summer evening outside.\nWhat: We’ll start by cleaning up the riverside trail\, then unwind together with refreshments\, light snacks\, and conversation.
