SUMMARY:Site Tour of Resilient St. Vrain Project
DESCRIPTION:The Floodplain Management Committee is hosting a tour of the St. Vrain in Longmont! It is an extensive\, multi-year project to fully restore the St. Vrain Greenway and improve the St. Vrain Creek channel to protect people\, property\, and infrastructure from future flood risk. The project encompasses various phases\, and the tour will include details about what has been done and what will be done in the future. Meet at Dickens Park between 8:00 – 8:30 am. We will be starting at 8:30 and the tour of the site will be approximately 2.5 hours.
