SUMMARY:Floodplain 101
DESCRIPTION:The Association of State Floodplain Managers (ASFPM) Certified Floodplain Managers (CFM®) Exam will be offered AECOM on 7:30 am on Thursday April 25th\, 2019.  The address of the facility is \n  \nAECOM \n6200 South Quebec Street \nGreenwood Village\, CO 80111\, USA \nT +1-303-694-2770 \naecom.com \n  \nIn order to take the CFM exam\, you must complete and submit the CFM Program Application Package to the ASFPM.  The forms are available on the ASFPM website www.floods.org under the Certification Program tab.  The fee for taking the exam is $100 for ASFPM members and $470 for non-members.  You may submit an application for ASFPM membership at the same time as applying to take the CFM® exam. \n  \nSpace in the facility is limited to 40 participants\, so get your application in early.   In order to be accepted to take the CFM Exam\, you must submit your completed application along with the appropriate fee to ASFPM by [April 11\, 2017] (2 weeks prior to exam date).  No walk-ins will be allowed unless authorized by the ASFPM Executive office. \n  \nA Floodplain 101 class will be held\, in the same facilities the day before\, April 24th\, 2017.  Both the test and the Floodplain 101 class will be held at the same location.  For both the class and test\, please arrive early enough to locate the facility\, check in with the receptionist to gain access\, and be settled in.  The FP101 class will begin at 7:30 and will conclude at 5:00 pm.  The CFM test will start at 7:30 am and will conclude at 10:30 am.  Please contact Chris Hodyl at chris.hodyl@jacobs.com if you would like to attend the class.  Registration for the test is through ASFPM as described above. \n  \nThere is no fee for the class and you may attend the class without registering for the test.  Exam preparation materials can be found on ASFPM’s website at:  http://floods.org/index.asp?menuID=215&firstlevelmenuID=180&siteID=1 \nThe “Floodplain 101” class is for enhancement or refresher only and not intended to teach the exam.
