SUMMARY:16th Street Mall Reconstruction Project Tour
DESCRIPTION:Please join the CASFM Outreach & Training Committee on a construction site tour on Wednesday\, June 26.  The 16th Street Mall reconstruction project is a complete renovation of the 16th Street Mall from Market to Broadway. The renovation includes relocation and replacement of utilities\, new granite pavers\, new mature trees within a soil cell system\, and public life elements to engage and educate the public. Storm water management along the Mall consists of a slot drain along the entire length of each block on both sides\, new storm sewer\, and new water quality facilities. The water quality facilities are a variety of Level of Green 2 and 3 facilities from Denver’s Ultra Urban Green Infrastructure Guidelines. \nAs part of the CASFM tour\, we will walk down Block 2 and see the new storm water infrastructure firsthand as full-block construction fencing between Larimer to Lawrence streets is a thing of the past! For more information on project phasing and milestones\, visit Denvergov.org/16thStreetMall. \nRegister \nSpace is limited to 30 attendees\, so don’t delay in registering for the tour! \nField Trip Starting Location: 1515 Arapahoe St. #100\, Denver\, CO 80202 (Downtown Denver Partnership Conference Room)\nCost: Free!
