DESCRIPTION:The bus tour will start and end at the offices of the Southeast Metro Stormwater Authority (SEMSWA). \nThe CASFM Water Quality field trip is a daylong annual event. This year we will be visiting stream restoration projects as well as post-construction stormwater BMPs including level spreaders\, tree filters\, and bioretention basins. At each site\, engineers\, landscape architects and/or owners will share their experience and perspective. \nSites include: \n\nThe new SEMSWA demonstration garden\nCherry Creek Valley Ecological Park\nA 2-mile walk along the Cottonwood Creek restoration project\nAurora Sports Park level spreaders\nWillow Creek cascading rundown\,\nInverness level spreader\, and\nSEMSWA LID demonstration campus.\n\nThis trip fills up quickly so please register soon! Successful completion requires attendance at all classroom sessions. \nINTENDED AUDIENCE:\nThis course is intended for public safety personnel\, both sworn and non-sworn\, that are interested in obtaining their FAA Remote Pilot Certificate under FAR PART 107.
