SUMMARY:CASFM Water Quality Tour
DESCRIPTION:Where: Hydro and Terra Buildings at Colorado State University’s Spur Campus\nAddress and parking information will be provided to registered attendees in the week prior to the tours. \nWhen: Tuesday\, October 24th 1:30-4:00pm; followed by a Happy Hour at the Denver Stockyard Saloon next door \nWhat: The CASFM Water Quality Committee is excited to offer tours of Colorado State University’ Spur Campus with a special focus on water research. The tours will span the Hydro and Terra research buildings\, with stops at the Water TAP Laboratory\, the Hydro Backyard\, stormwater bioretention test plots\, and green roofs. Tours will be led by research collaborators from CSU\, Mile High Flood District\, and the City and County of Denver. \nThe tour will be on-foot. Time will be spent inside\, outside\, and even on a roof! So be prepared for weather. \nRegistration: $10 (Registration fee covers costs of the event and appetizers at the Happy Hour. Any remaining funds will be donated to a community-based nonprofit organization affiliated with CSU Spur). There are a limited number of spots so register early to claim one. If you miss this event\, CSU will be hosting the Colorado Stormwater Symposium at Spur the following week which will feature tours and cover water research. \nRegistration opening soon \nQuestions?
