See below for an update from the Middle Colorado Watershed Council who received one of the 2022 Disaster Relief Grant. If you want more information, read their report here.

“Last year, the Middle Colorado Watershed Council received a $5,000 grant from CASFM to help with our post Grizzly Creek fire restoration efforts. We continued monitoring weather in the canyon, added soil moisture monitors to our rain gauge locations, and added more water quality testing locations on the Colorado River.

We also set up a Data Dashboard that is customizable for each town on the river but is also on our website for people to see changes in water quality and measurements of rain activity in the canyon (see the Data Drop image part way down our home page).

Thank you for the opportunity to share information about the Data Dashboard at your September conference. I’m attaching the report we sent to CWCB on the progress of our activities in 2022 on this project so CASFM has a record of the information.”
