Stormwater Quality Field Trip 2017

The bus tour will start and end at the offices of the Southeast Metro Stormwater Authority (SEMSWA).

The CASFM Water Quality field trip is a daylong annual event. This year we will be visiting stream restoration projects as well as post-construction stormwater BMPs including level spreaders, tree filters, and bioretention basins. At each site, engineers, landscape architects and/or owners will share their experience and perspective.

Sites include:

• The new SEMSWA demonstration garden
• Cherry Creek Valley Ecological Park
• A 2-mile walk along the Cottonwood Creek restoration project
• Aurora Sports Park level spreaders
• Willow Creek cascading rundown,
• Inverness level spreader, and
• SEMSWA LID demonstration campus.

This trip fills up quickly so please register soon! Registration ends June 19th or when the trip fills up.
